    Pixar walking teapot

    早上见到刚从LA Siggraph归来的中村君, 一番寒暄之后送给我此行的礼物.  Pixar walking teapot, wow.

    这个小东东虽然没有那个会跳的台灯Luxo那么鼎鼎大名,却是电影业内渲染标准Renderman的Logo. 03年我刚到美国的时候参加了那年夏天Siggraph,期间的Renderman party,会场上给每个人都发了一个银色塑料walking teapot, 这个teapot我一直留下来,直到去年搬到加拿大才发现不见了踪影. 今天上网一查,原来03年的teapot是第一版,之后每年的siggraph上Pixar都送出了新的版本.

    这次中村君送给我的是07年和今年的版本. 07年么,当然是Ratatouille为主题了.
